Cody is currently serving as the Deputy Campaign Manager in Girmay Zahilay's race for King County Executive. In this role, he is working alongside the Campaign Manager in overseeing all field operations, coordinating endorsements and questionnaires, staffing events, maintaining the campaign's digital presence, preparing research memos, and more. He is also serving as a Campaign Adviser for State Representative Osman Salahuddin, and previously served as the Campaign Manager for King County Councilmember Sarah Perry.
Cody is a graduate student at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy. Earning his Masters of Public Policy, he has rigorously studied quantitative methods, domestic and foreign policy analysis, and subject-specific policy areas like defense and economic policy. As a part of Cody's client-based capstone project, he consulted for the US Citizenship and Immigration Service during the Biden administration to identify factors that motivate eligible legal permanent residents to naturalize as citizens.
Cody excels at leading in his community— whether that be organizing volunteers to canvass thousands of doors across the greater Seattle area, teaching martial arts for over four years, or serving as the Vice President of his university's student government. In his free time, Cody enjoys hiking across beautiful Washington State with his two older brothers, as well as bettering his aerial photography skills with his drone.
